Cleaner

The Cleaner’s responsibility at Beachcomber Catering is to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Daily tasks include maintaining public areas and, as a team leader, cleaning inside Air France aircraft before take-off and team supervision.

Key responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect public areas and common areas in accordance with Beachcomber’s established standards of cleanliness.
• Use appropriate products and equipment for high quality results.
• Ensure cleaning-related complaints or issues are promptly reported and addressed.
• Manage the stock of cleaning products and equipment.
• Mentor new team members to ensure quality service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members for proper allocation and timely completion of all tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the overall cleanliness and hygiene of common areas.
• Clean up Air France aircraft before take-off and supervise a team.

Qualifications and skills:
• Cleaning experience, ideally in the hospitality or aviation sector.
• Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Good organisational skills to assign tasks within the team.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team members.
• Team spirit and ability to support team members.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to change.
• Integrity and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
