Sports Clerk
A passion for sport and a strong guest focus are essential qualities to be a Sports Clerk at Beachcomber. They enable you to elevate guests’ sports experience. You will have the opportunity to share your tennis skills and introduce beginner-level guests to this exciting sport. You will thus play a key role in creating strong bonds and enhancing the friendly atmosphere of the fitness centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in booking tennis courts and other sports activities.
- Give tennis lessons to beginners and advanced players, sharing your knowledge and passion for the sport.
- Organise tennis games and tournaments for guests who want to take part in friendly competitions.
- Create a friendly and welcoming environment within the fitness centre, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and supported in their sports activities.
- Ensure that sports facilities, tennis equipment and courts are in good condition for a high-quality play environment.
- Work with the fitness centre team to organise sports activities and special events for guests.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent tennis skills with the ability to give lessons to beginners and advanced players.
- A passion for the sport and the desire to share it with guests.
- Interpersonal skills to create a friendly environment and maintain friendly relationships with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours according to guest requirements.
- Ability to work on your own and in a team to ensure a high-quality sports experience for guests.
