From a salesperson who lacked self-confidence, Tina has adeptly made her way into an excellent communicator. As a Boutique Manager, she now serves guests with a beaming smile while providing them with sound advice and she cultivates excellent team spirit.
Tina’s welcoming and energetic character has made her an essential team member at Mauricia Beachcomber Resort & Spa. For the past 13 years, she has been greeting guests at the Boutique, ensuring that everyone leaves with a smile and the perfect souvenir, or simply enjoys their visit.
"Tina began her career as a sales assistant. Initially unsure of her ability to interact with guests, she says that she has gained confidence and enhanced her communication skills through training and the support of her colleagues and friends.
Today, as a Boutique Manager, she easily connects with guests, who readily seek her advice. Tina also cares about her colleagues because she knows the importance of striking a balance between being friendly and professional and is proud of the cohesion within her team.
Over the years, the Boutique Manager has witnessed positive developments in the workplace. She believes that various enhancements and advantages implemented by Beachcomber have contributed to the improved supervision of young artisans.

She is aware of the challenges that youngsters face when starting in the hotel industry and she attached a great importance in patience and persistence.
When she is not working, Tina enjoys life’s simple pleasures, including music, reading, spending time at the beach and with her family. She feeds her soul on these precious moments, which enable her to continue giving joy and enthusiasm to others.
The motto, “Feel the Happiness You Give” is embodied in Tina’s daily interactions and her passion for her work. “Things are not always perfect, but the love for what you do makes every day precious,” she says.
