Brian, serving Artisans with dedication
The renaming of Beachcomber’s Human Resources Department to “People and Culture” aligns with Brian’s personal belief in “People first”.
He joined the Company as a P&C executive just over a year ago and from the outset, he was pleasantly surprised to realise that the Artisans enjoy coming to work and also take great pride in wearing Beachcomber’s emblem.
As a member of the People & Culture Department, Brian highlights that this function is key in balancing between the values of the Group while encouraging innovation and change. The solutions or issues raised by employees during work sessions are often carefully examined and reworked instead of being set aside. This approach underlines the extent to which the Company values diversity of perspectives and actively promotes creativity.
“I feel fulfilled because we recognise each individual’s contribution and are all looking in the same direction,” he says.
