Anisha, connecting with others through uniforms
Anisha is a dynamic person who brings enthusiasm to Victoria Beachcomber’s Linen Department. She always performs her job with a warm smile on her face and dedication, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel while helping to create a very positive work environment.
Every morning, Anisha and her colleagues are all smiles as they distribute uniforms to over 400 Artisans. She fosters an atmosphere of camaraderie and support, often joking with her colleagues to ease their stress. She is also responsible for accounting and invoicing for garment care, and works closely with the Main Linen Department.
Anisha stands out for the love that she puts into her work and the joy she finds in her daily interactions with her colleagues. She often provides a listening ear for those who need it and is known for her cheerfulness and friendly attitude.
Her role within the Linen Department has also enabled her to develop an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its various departments. She has learnt more about the people behind the uniforms and has become a familiar face to many of them.
This single mother is proud of what she has achieved and hopes that her 15-year-old son will join Beachcomber one day. For her, the hotel industry presents various career development opportunities and each role is important.

One of her career highlights was her designation as Employee of the Month. This has been a great motivation for Anisha, who was moved by the recognition received for her positive attitude and dedication. It was also a very special moment for her family. However, Anisha’s work also brings a number of challenges. Uniform management can become very hectic in peak periods, such as December. She often has to be creative and efficient to ensure the Artisans receive their uniforms on time. Her resourcefulness and ability to communicate effectively come in handy to overcome these challenges.
Finally, Anisha is a model of dedication, passion and positive work attitude. She develops closer bonds with her colleagues and plays a key role in the smooth running of Victoria Beachcomber. Her journey is a testament to the significant impact of attitude and commitment in the workplace and on the lives of those who work there.
