Ludovic, connecting through tennis

With almost 22 years of service, Ludovic embodies the sporting spirit and a passion for tennis. He started his career as a Beach Waiter. One day, a guest was looking for a tennis partner and asked him to play a game. That’s when it all clicked.
"Tennis has become an essential part of Ludovic’s life. Over the years, he has honed his skills through training to become a Sports Clerk. Sport also gives him the opportunity to forge lasting bonds with guests at Dinarobin Beachcomber and warmly welcome familiar faces, some of whom have been coming back regularly since they were very young. These invaluable relationships encapsulate the very essence of what makes this sport so special to him.
More than just a livelihood, his work gives him the opportunity to make a positive difference in guests’ lives and provide them with unforgettable experiences. Ludovic is grateful to Beachcomber, which provides him with everything he needs, from uniforms to sports equipment, to contribute to everyone’s sporting and personal development.

A particularly touching moment for Ludovic was when he stayed at the hotel with his mother, a Beachcomber employee for 30 years. He explains that he was deeply moved to see her experience the hotel for the first time as a guest.
Away from tennis courts, Ludovic is very active socially. A former Chairperson of the District Council of Black River, he remains committed to young people, sponsoring football games and coaching them. Ludovic observed that many youths tend to be reluctant to make sacrifices, especially in the hospitality industry, he strives to raise awareness of the importance on building a strong future.
Ludovic lives the “Feel the Happiness You Give” philosophy every day. The genuine smiles, warm exchanges, and passion he shares with guests enhance their experience, making them feel valued and creating a friendly atmosphere.
