Qualified Tradesmen (Electricians, Plumbers & Frigorists)

The incumbents will report to the Group Engineering Manager under the Flying Squad Team. As skilled Artisans, they will help in the preventive maintenance, and any other specific maintenance tasks of our five hotels in the North. All necessary training, tools and equipment will be provided.

Job Description:

• Perform assigned repairs, preventive maintenance and other special tasks in all our Business Units in the North; 
• Complete maintenance and repair records as required; 
• Perform corrective actions following specific surveys by internal/external bodies and keep updates of those corrective actions; 
• Complete checklists in order to be compliant with different certifications on defined periodic time frames; 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot components and system issues; 
• Work closely under the guidance of all Maintenance Managers to respond to customer’s concerns with the performance or functionality of their system; 
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients throughout the process; 
• Perform any other cognate duties which may be assigned.

Profile: 

• At least School Certificate; 
• NTC 3 or Two years technical certification (or equivalent) required; 
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills; 
• Ability to work in a team and at odd hours if needed; 
• Residing in the northern region; 
• Holder of a valid driving licence
