MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the team and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Engage and support artisans, keeping them motivated and aligned with project goals.
  • Oversee logistics, from raw materials to product delivery.
  • Onboard new artisans, ensuring quality and project alignment.
  • Set clear goals for the project and sales, ensuring measurable targets.
  • Expand sales by identifying new selling points, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Innovate products in collaboration with designers and artisans to maintain competitiveness.
  • Monitor budgets to ensure all project expenses align with financial plans.
  • Track sales performance and analyse trends to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage payments to artisans and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Develop the business plan with management adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Prepare progress reports on sales, artisan performance and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and ethical standards.
  • Develop training programmes to improve artisans' technical and business skills.
  • Identify skill gaps and arrange relevant training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

  • Graduated from a recognised tertiary institution with a bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager specifically within social enterprises
    and non-profit sectors.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Deeply committed to empowering communities and driving social impact.
