Welcomes and greets guests promptly and politely;
Gives information to guests on all activities and services available and provides the appropriate assistance to them upon their queries, request and complaints;
Prepares and dispatches arrival, departure, in-house guests and daily report lists for other departments;
Liaises with housekeeping for readiness of rooms/ suites/ villas prior to guest’s arrival;
Handles incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries;
Manages office supplies and inventory, and places orders when necessary;
Maintains accurate records and databases;

Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
NC Level 3 in Reception operations from Mauritius Institute of Training and Development or equivalent;
Good communication and organisational skills;
Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
Knowledge of a third language will be a definite advantage.
