MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Makes sure that all goods and materials are received in accordance with the Hotel’s Policies & Procedures and that proper verification is done in terms of the tally of purchase order of physical quantity received and invoice, quality of goods and materials and expire dates of products delivered
- Maintains the stock level for each stored item within set maximum, minimum reorder levels
- Ensure proper classification of all products in the store so as to facilitate issue on a FIFO basis
- Prepares all requests relating to stock items and respect the deadline set
- Monitors the temperature of all cold rooms, where applicable, on a regular basis and takes necessary corrective action
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE
- School Certificate or equivalent
- Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 1
- Previous professional experience in Wine waiting.
- Customer and Sales Oriented
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality
- Should be well discipline, serious, reliable and fully committed to the job
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French
