MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans daily production in terms of quantity and quality of items to be prepared according to standards and procedures.
  • Plans, assigns duties, briefs, supervises and ensures tasks execution
  • Monitors and completes cooking operations, in line with standards in terms of hygiene, quality, quantity, timing and costs.
  • Monitors and actively supports subordinates in their MEP in the cooking process
  • Ensures the cleanliness and good maintenance of the work place at all times.
  • Maintains and complies with hygienic standards and practices within the Kitchen areas
  • Ensure subordinates’ appearance and hygiene are adopted according to standards norm
  • Maintains and upkeeps all equipment and material entrusted to him/ her.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

  • Knowledge of food product
  • Knowledge in food safety and hygiene.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organisation skills.
  • Self-improvement and continuous awareness relevant to the job.
  • Time management skills.
  • People management skills.
