Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is looking for a Commis Sommelier

Assists the Head Sommelier and Sommelier team in wine service and recommendations.
Ensures proper storage, handling, and presentation of wines.
Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the wine list, vintages, and pairings.
Supports in stock control, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
Prepares and set up wine stations and glassware for service.
Engages with guests, providing professional and friendly wine guidance.
Participates in tastings and training to expand wine expertise.

School Certificate or equivalent;
Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 1;
Passionate about wine, eager to learn, and keen to develop sommelier skills.
Basic knowledge of wines, regions, and food pairings (formal wine training is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player with a proactive and service-oriented mind-set.
Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
