HoD Forum #5

Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels held its biannual HoD Forum on Wednesday 27 March at the Caudan Arts Centre.  Some 180 head of departments from across all our business units came together for an insightful and inspiring afternoon. On the agenda: outlook for the second semester, sustainability progress, and our key pillars for development.

”The forward outlook is positive across our resorts. This momentum is expected to continue boding well for financial year ending 30 June 2024. Booking trends remain strong. I am thankful to all our Artisans for their commitment, hard work, and efforts”,
said Stéphane Poupinel de Valencé, CEO of Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels in his keynote address.

People First Culture and Guest experience are at the heart of our success and on top of our key pillars. The event sheds light on Beachcomber People First Culture strategic priority with the upcoming rollout of projects from our Artisan Value Proposition. Focus was also on our commitment to Guest Experience, through five identified themes to enhance guest journey.

It was also the perfect time to share our sustainability achievements and reflect on the Projet Employabilité Jeunes (PEJ), a flagship programme of Fondation Espoir Développement Beachcomber (FED), which has transformed the lives of some 3 500 young people since 2004. PEJ is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Standing ovation, laughter, and gratitude mark the forum, as Beachcomber expresses its heartfelt thanks to Nived Puresh, Executive Chef of Victoria Beachcomber, who will retire in June after 35 years of dedicated service.

Huge thanks to all of you who attended the HoD Forum#5 and kudos to the organising team.

We are already looking forward to the next edition in October 2024.
