Stephan Lagesse has been appointed General Manager of Paradis Beachcomber and Dinarobin Beachcomber; Théodose Fleurié will take over as General Manager of Trou aux Biches Beachcomber.

Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephan Lagesse, currently General Manager of Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, as General Manager of Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa on Le Morne Peninsula. Théodose Fleurié, currently Hotel Manager of Trou aux Biches Beachcomber, will succeed him as General Manager. Both will take up their new positions on 1 September 2023.

Beachcomber entrusts the general management of three iconic hotels to in-house talent. Stephan Lagesse has 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry and has managed various properties in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean. He joined Trou aux Biches Beachcomber as Hotel Manager in 2019 and was promoted General Manager in October 2021.

“It is my honour and privilege to take over the management of Paradis Beachcomber and Dinarobin Beachcomber, two iconic hotels. It is a great challenge that I will take up with the support of Patricia Auffray at Dinarobin Beachcomber and Eddy Kwan Tat at Paradis Beachcomber, as well as their fabulous teams. We will work together to uphold the reputation of these 5-star resorts,” says Stephan Lagesse. It should be noted that Paradis Beachcomber will undergo major renovation work from June to October 2023.

Théodose Fleurié will succeed Stephan Lagesse as General Manager of Trou aux Biches Beachcomber. Trained in luxury hotel management, he began his career with Beachcomber in 2006, successively holding the positions of Assistant F&B Manager at Paradis Beachcomber and F&B Manager at Sainte Anne Resort & Spa. In 2010, he decided to continue his career in Europe, especially in Switzerland and France.

He returned to Mauritius 11 years later, after gaining experience in prestigious European hotels. He joined Trou aux Biches Beachcomber as Hotel Manager in 2021, at the time of the reopening of Mauritian borders after a two-year health crisis. His appointment as General Manager of the hotel is further recognition of his expertise and human qualities. “I am happy to have been given the opportunity to manage one of the most beautiful hotels on the island. I accept this appointment with great humility. A big thank you to Beachcomber’s management. I am looking forward to this new challenge with all the Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Artisans,” he says.
